I was born and raised in New Jersey in a female centered family. I have
always had an appreciation for yoga and alternative approaches to health. I have been a student of yoga since 1992 and have
experienced many deep changes in myself since beginning my yogic practice. I am honored to be able to provide guidance for others on their journey towards
wholeness.
I received both my Bachelors degree in Psychology
and my Masters degree in Psychological Services from Kean University in Union, NJ. While completing my MA, I graduated with
my first 200 hour Hatha yoga teachers certification in 2002. After graduation, I decided to move to Rhinebeck, New York and
begin working at The Omega Institute for Holistic Studies. I loved my job as the Guest Services Manager and truly enjoyed
the three years that I spent at Omega. After taking numerous workshops at Omega with Gurmukh, the leading Kundalini Yoga and
Meditation teacher in the U.S., I continued my yogic studies and received my 200 hour certification as a Kundalini Yoga &
Meditation teacher from 3HO. While
working at Omega, I realized that I have a passion for supporting others on their path towards wholeness. Towards this end,
I decided to return to school and focus on a transpersonal and somatic approach to psychological counseling and healing. While completeing my second Masters degree I attended and completed the KRI
taught 100 hour - Conscious Pregnancy training, therefore adding prenatal yoga to my schedule. I completed my second
Masters degree in Counseling Psychology in 2008, and I have just completed my hours to sit for licensure as a Marriage and
Family Therapist. Currently, I teach yoga classes and workshops that focus on using our bodies as a compass leading us to a fuller,
deeper life.
